The ways of this world are so misleading, yet having knowledge of that in some way we still follow the incorrect path. We find some finite pleasure out of sin, and we feel it's enough.Why? We are lost. We're so blind, and it seems impossible that we might ever find the what we are looking for, the something that will make us happy in this world. It's the someone who is not of this world yet lives with us omnipresently Why haven't we looked up? God is the only one who unconditionally loves us and the only one who always wants to help us even when we turn away from him. Whether it's sex,drugs,cutting, punching, just plain ignorance or anything we can find to make us happy for a moment. It's a way of running away. But at some point the numbness fades and we feel worse, yet continue to do it anyway until we rot away and we are left being even more useless then before which is hard to imagine because we see it every day and we cant believe we were worse of then previously thought. Denial has us believing we are better off this way.It will continue to happen every day unless we of course have God in our hearts and then all of a sudden we have a reason for living, or at least we finally realize it. (to glorify God) and we need to love for him and no one else, not even our selves.God shows us unending love and mercy as he pulls us out of the hole we dig for ourselves, and what do we do? we fall right back in.....we even separate ourselves from God, yet he is always there with us. even when our eyes and heart are to dark to see him.The only time God leaves us is when we die and if we go to hell that is the only time he listens to our selfish pleas and lets us go our own way into a dark place where sin consumes us and for the first time we are completely alone.
